Clementines Like the oranges, they are rich in Vitamin C and calcium, therefore act as a prevention for colds and influenzas, besides also preventing cardiovascular disturbances. Dates Dates have a high nutritional value. Very rich in sugars, potassium, calcium, phosphorus and Vitamin A, they also have a good quantity of fibre and do not contain fats. Origin:- Middle East and Mediterranean
Figs A tasty fruit due to its high content of sugars but also rich in Vitamin A and C. Moreover also contains discrete quantities of iron, potassium and fibre.
Yellow grapefruit Famous for its capability of helping to reduce the levels of insulin and glucose, thereby helping the human metabolic system to accumulate less fats. Like all the other citrus fruits, it is rich in Vitamin C. Availability in nature:- All year round

White Italian ‘moscato’ grapes These grapes are extremely digestible and contain many therapeutic properties. First of all they are laxative and diuretic. They are useful to fight against dyspepsia, haemorrhoids and gall-stones. Moreover, they help the functioning of the liver, facilitate the digestion and help reduce the cholesterol level in the blood and to eliminate the urine acidity. Kiwi The kiwi is a fruit very rich in Vitamin C, fibre, Vitamin E and potassium. A kiwi is mature when it feels soft when touched and has a good smell. If you store the kiwi near a fruit which produces ethylene, like apples, bananas or pears, the process of maturation is accelerated. Mango A fruit advisable in case of vitamin deficiency or in anaemic cases. However its consumption is not advisable by those who suffer from renal or intestinal disturbances or by diabetics due to its high content of sugars.
Rounded melon A fruit which is slightly laxative, is refreshing and has few calories. It is ideal for those who suffer from anaemia due to the presence of iron and also for those who are diabetics because the sugar contents, when compared to the water contents, is quite low. Medlar Contain citric acid and tannin, substances which are useful in cases of dysentery. However the seeds should absolutely not be swallowed because they contain harmful substances for the human body.
Navel oranges Very rich in Vitamin C, oranges help our body absorb iron from vegetables and stimulates the defensive mechanisms of the immune system, thus preventing annoying colds. Besides offering protection from different forms of flu, they also help to prevent cardiovascular disturbances and to develop anti-stress actions. Persimmon A very energetic food, therefore advisable for children and those who practice sports. Has laxative and diuretic qualities, therefore very good for those who have liver problems. Persimmon – apple They are different from the persimmon in their taste and because of their much firm consistency. However all the beneficial characteristics are the same.
Pomegranate Recent studies have shown that this fruit has therapeutic properties and also helps prevent cancers because it is rich in flavin, anti-oxidants which protect the heart and the arteries, as well as because its juice is even toxic for cancerous cells. It is advisable mostly in cases of breast cancer.
Papaya It is a highly thirst-quenching fruit due to its 89% contents of water. Its pulp contains an enzyme, the papain, which helps the digestion of proteins. It is very useful in cases of constipation, gastritis and hypertension.
Passion fruit Rich in Vitamin A, very useful for the eye-sight. However its consumption is not advisable for those who suffer from abdominal swelling and gastritis and also for those who are diabetics.
White peaches Very good stimulants for the renal and intestinal activities as well as for the secretion of the gastric juices which help the digestion.
