CAP and sustainability for the future of European Agriculture

CAP is a fundamental policy for sustainable growth within the European Union. It contributes to the improvement of the competiveness of farms and enhances the role of farmers in rural areas, which in turn contribute to the wider social, environmental and economic dimension of regions and countries. The activity of farmers and farmers’ organisations is crucial in these contexts, as they are key players in the conservation of the environment and in the shaping and preservation of the landscape of rural areas.

The Conference aims to discuss the contribution of CAP to sustainable growth by analysing the reformed policy at both the European and the National level, but also aims to provide the participants with specific cases of experiences and good practices carried out in several EU Countries.
